Cherry Creek Sneak

This morning I ran the Cherry Creek Sneak 5 mile race. It was a great day for a run, beautiful and sunny, although it was a little bit chilly at the start. The start was really crowded and it took awhile to get going. The first mile was really slow but once people started spacing out a little, I was able to pick up my pace. I felt good and my legs felt fast so I just went with it, even though I was going faster than my planned pace. I crossed the finish line with a time of 46:09, well under my goal time of 47:30! It was a great race on a beautiful day. My only (very slight) disappointment was that if I had managed to run 2 seconds faster, I would have been able to move up another qualifying wave for the Bolder Boulder! :-) It was a great tune-up for next weekend's half-marathon!

Stats:

Time: 46:09 (9:10 pace)

1359/3801 Overall

 453/2154  Women

 107/433  Females 30-34
